This beat was originally made back in 2007. I must have just seen Telefon Tel Aviv at STS9's festival back in 2007 and they were both a big influence on me at the time. I recently went back and added subs, got the hi-hats sounding tight, and did some RJD2 stuff with the fretless bass. I actually just gave this album to Telefon Tel Aviv and told him about the back story. I hope he enjoyed the tribute.
